Bio for Bill
After leaving Dundee College I had a number of different jobs. Designing and hand-painting bespoke furniture. A Retail Display Artist and then a Florist, ultimately leading to shop manager. I became a full-time mother on the birth of my first son and when my middle son was diagnosed with Autism I increasingly became involved within the autistic community and supporting services, whereby I promoted autism awareness and was profoundly moved with the benefits of musical therapy, and in particular the work of Nordoff Robbins. With the encouragement of my new soon to be husband, I reverted back to my love of the arts and enrolled in a Sound Production Course at Fife College, where I am currently mid-way through my HND, If nothing else, I've learnt to bullshit with the best of them. I mean, this isn't me. Yet it is. Go figure; passion for technical excellence, an intense commitment to deliver to deadline, and the vision to inject creativity into everyday tasks, are performance characteristics that have underpinned educational studies, work & voluntary experiences, and freelance assignments in sound engineering. Acknowledged by lecturers
and fellow students as a meticulous trouble-shooter, rapid-paced learner, and independent thinker; intuitive, analytical, and proficient in applying realistic and imaginative solutions to technical issues. Dedicated to enriching and maintaining the integrity of musical compositions of all genres, optimizing sound quality, capitalizing on equipment capabilities, and making high-impact, behind-the-scenes contributions
